British build Treaty

British standard treaty build. Sheeps involved.

By Kirson

Overview

A build based on killing sheep. Good economic cards for the team if they also use sheeps/cows/pigs and gold-using ones.

Opening and Build Order

In the first age, build 12-16 houses and a market, and fill one livestock, then age up with 30vills+. Next, fill the second livestock, build a church, and advance to Age III as quickly as possible. Build 3 town centers and advance to Age V as quickly as possible. You should achieve this with around 70-80 villagers. Remember about the sheep/cows, and with that in mind, focus on gold mining. Set the factories to wood. Take the cards from the Capitol.

Upgrades

The British have a wide range of units, so you’ll need a lot of resources to upgrade all of them to Imperial level. Remember to take the card that upgrades longbowmen to rangers first, and the cards assigned to longbowmen will then change accordingly.

The Army: Rockets and Rangers

The unique units for the British are Rockets and Rangers. The Ranger is comparable to a skirmisher with slightly lower stats, and Rockets are good all-round long range artillery.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Lots of food from killing and gathering cows/sheeps.

  • Very flexible nation. zero weakpoints in case of units.

  • Good team cards - great nations for 3vs3 or 4vs4

  • strong cards for musks and hussars

Cons

  • sheep and cow need to be managed.

  • no strong unique units to play around.

Final Tips

  • Think about weakpoints in opponent civ and use it.

  • Try to make opponent busy, attack from different angles and make walls when pushing.

  • Use Hussar and Musk combo with few artillery to push opponent.

  • Enjoy game, keep army as close as possible to maximum and see how your opponent score is going down faster than you.
